Would you like a sample?
We'd be happy to send you up to six free fabric samples so you can see the quality of our fabrics for yourself and be sure the fabric is right for your project.
It's easy: On the product page, click “Request a free fabric sample”. The sample goes into your cart and you order it as usual for €0. From your wishlist you can also request samples of all saved fabrics at once.
Samples are sent by letter on the next working day. There are no postage costs for you, even abroad.

How much fabric do I need?
Choose your project, dress size and fabric width – we show you the right amount of fabric at a glance. All values are guidelines for woven fabrics cut on the straight grain.
These figures do not replace your pattern: the exact amount is always stated on your sewing pattern – please follow it first and foremost. Our calculator gives you a first orientation, e.g. for ordering samples.
Most of our haute couture fabrics – including silk, cashmere and virgin wool – come in 140–150 cm widths. Lace and brocade are often 90–110 cm wide.
